Fiji Beach Shacks is located about six kilometres from the small town of Savusavu. The area is known as Lesiaceva ( less ee ah thay vah ).
The locals know it as the Cousteau Road as the Jean Michel Cousteau resort is only a stones throw away.
The only thing that separates you from the beach is a quiet dirt road. Not so long ago the only way to town was by boat.
Savusavu is located on Vanua Levu , Fiji's second largest island. Although not the largest town on the island it is a haven for yachties with its protected Harbour and is home to a diverse range of Fijian and Indian cultures and a multitude of other Pacific Island and Asian mixes.
Savusavu is known as Fiji's hidden paradise, due to its natural beauty and lack of commercialism.
